We’re launching a brand new 3 years diploma course in Acupuncture from September 2022! The aim is to allow more candidates with strong interest and enthusiasm in Chinese Acupuncture, but lack of experience in health care field, to access professional training in Chines medicine, and be able to practise Chinese acupuncture after the training.
The course will be 3 years Part-Time study. The first year provides foundation knowledge in modern medicine (Anatomy & physiology) and professional development (Professional conduct, health & safty, therapeutic relationship and research methods). The second and third year will follow similar syllabuses as our standard Postgraduate Diploma in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture.
The lectures maybe delivered in a combination of classroom and zoom lessons, depending on the current state of covid rules. Ususally the teaching will be one weekend each month. The course will require clinical hours. Students can choose to practise at our teaching clinic Acuhealth Centre in Sale, Manchester, or at an approved centre near to their residential areas.
