Dr Jing Ye graduated as a TCM Acupuncturist from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1992. She then worked as a medical doctor in Shanghai Jinshan Hospital (affiliated to Fudan University), as well as a year's placement in the Dermatology and Acupuncture departments at Shuguang Hospital.

After this, Jing moved to the UK to practice Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in May 2002. She also completed a Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Middlesex University in 2011 .

From this, her personal interest in women’s health led to a Post-graduate Diploma course with leading acupuncturist Dr. Trevor Wing in TCM Gynaecology and Obstetrics (the Women’s Natural Health Practice) in 2012. She has also specialised in FSN – subcutaneous needling . This new technique has all the benefits of traditional acupuncture with a fraction of the sensation. She also obtained Bo's Abdominal acupuncturist certificate in 2017.
